Who earns more – male or female PTs?
The 2016 ADVANCE Magazine Salary Survey of physical therapists and PTAs uncovered some interesting data. While over 35% of male PTs report earning six-figure incomes, less than 20% of females do.
The gender disparity is even more pronounced among PTAs. 40% of male PTAs earn more than $65,000 per year, while only 18% of female PTAs do.
