For SLPs and their patients, teleintervention is greatly enhancing early intervention

Teleintervention continues to emerge as a viable, cost-effective and family-oriented model of service delivery for children with communication disorders and their families.

Even so, widespread knowledge of both the benefits of teleintervention and its availability are still very much needed.

The convenience of providing service delivery, regardless of location, makes treatment options available to many more patients.

Still, there’s a perception not limited to healthcare that nothing can replace face-to-face interaction.

What if there were more to it, though?

What if teleintervention – by virtue of its own mechanics – could prove equally as effective, if not more so?
