This course will focus on clinical anatomy and biomechanics of the lower lumbar and sacroiliac joint, with emphasis on commonly encountered pathologies. A brief historical perspective leading up to the current understanding of SIJ and pelvic pain will be discussed. Evidence-based features of the examination (including special tests), therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy interventions will be presented in a clinically oriented impairment based format for immediate clinical application.
