This 2-day course, presented by J.J. Mowder-Tinney PT, PhD, NCS, C/NDT, CSRS, CEEAA, will focus on ways to integrate motor learning strategies, while challenging patients to their appropriate physical level. This will include challenges for balance, aerobic conditioning, functional activities, as well as strengthening with an emphasis on providing appropriate adjustments to intervention programs for all practice settings. Videos of actual patient cases will be used throughout the lecture material. Hands-on lab time throughout both days will provide opportunities for putting the approaches into practice. In addition, patient cases designed by attendees of the course will be incorporated into lab practice.
